Aline Pedroso Camargos Joins the Lab as Visiting Researcher

We are excited to welcome Aline Fernandes Pedroso Camargos as a visiting PhD student at CarDS Lab. Aline has worked as a clinical pharmacist in Brazil and received a master's degree in health sciences from the Federal University of Sao Joao del-Rei. Currently, she is in her last year of PhD studies. Aline has conducted extensive research in pharmacoepidemiology, including pharmacoeconomics and health outcomes research, racial disparities in cardiovascular healthcare, and the association of cardiovascular therapies with novel and traditional clinical and subclinical markers of cardiovascular diseases using the Brazilian Longitudinal Study of Adult Health (ELSA-Brasil).

At CarDS Lab, Aline will work on identifying cardiovascular prevention strategies in the US and Brazil.
