Akshay is a senior at Yale University studying Computer Science. At Yale, Akshay has worked in the Yale School of Medicine to investigate insurance-based access to care disparities and also in the Yale Magnetic Resonance Research Center to improve data processing methods for brain tumor visualization and detection software.

Akshay’s current research focuses on developing AI-based models for electrocardiograms, including for structural heart disease detection from wearable device ECGs and diagnosis statement generation from ECG images.
